Problem With Mail

can any one help, when ever i go on to my mail, a worning keeps coming up,

CANNOT GET MAIL
The connection to the server failed

i have to keep pressing ok, then it finaly goes and i can read my email. i have a new 3g iphone.

You get the warning, but you are then able to read mail right?

I had a similar problem and received the same warning, but I wasn't able to retrieve or send any mail. Check your mail settings and see if they are correct. If it's a common mail account (yahoo, gmail, etc) the iphone will be able to retrieve the proper settings.

If it isn't a common mail account, like a school mail account, then call the IT help desk to get the correct settings.

I would suggest deleting that mail account and re-entering all of the info.

problem with email

That happens sometimes after you restore because sometimes the restore doesn't remember your Mail password. To fix, just go into your Mail settings and re-enter your password. This has happened to me before, but yours could be something different.. worth a shot.
