Problem with microphone

Some times ago my internal mic stopped working properly. When I'm recording sound or "skyping" - my voice hearing on other side very-very muted (impossible for hearing), but touching and keys tapping sounds loud.
Is it known problem? 😕 Can I replace it with mic from another series of MBA?

ps. Remoted Mic works well.

I am glad that I am not the only one. I have the same problem with my Macbook Air 11 inch 2011. Hope, its a software.

I am going to go to the Apple store next week to get it looked at but I am far past my warranty.
