Hi,

Using a Mirosoft Office Outlook 2003:

- Archived emails manually, after archiving started to have problem with the email.

- The Archive (pst) file size is = 0.99 GB

- The outlook (pst) files size is = 809 MB

- Can send emails.

- Can sometimes receive emails.

- Can send email with attachement

- Can not receive email with attachement.

I think PST files are damaged.

I decided that Outlook cache folder may be fulled. And deleted the files in the OLKxx folder and still behave the same.

The sender of email gets this error message..

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: test 5

Sent: 7/05/2015 2:17 PM

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

John XX .COM on 7/05/2015 2:17 PM

The e-mail system was unable to deliver the message, but did not report a specific reason. Check the address and try again. If it still fails, contact your system administrator.

I wonder if it is related to archiving at all.... Any solution?

1. Register an important send/receive library file. Go to Start > Run and type regsvr32 inetcomm.dll

2. Check if antivirus email check is slowing sending and receiving. Disable it. Check if other programs running in the background is interfering. Disable one at a time the Firewall, antispyware, antispam, and all Norton programs.

3. In the account settings, Advanced settings, change the server timeout time from 1 min to 5 min

4. Create a new Outlook profile.

5. Check with email provider Tech Support to determine if server is having trouble.

6. If this advice does not solve the problem, then maybe you're right and the PSt file is really corrupted. First of all try to restore its by Microsoft internal tools such as scanpst.exe. If scanpst.exe will not help then you have no other choice but to try to recover by the third-party programs. I personally can recommend Recovery Toolbox for Outlook. It definitely will restore your file. Then just import it into Outlook.
