Problem with MS Office

Hello everybody,

today I tried to open ppt in order to prepare my afternoon presentation and the application wasn't responding at all. The same with word and excel.
What kind of a problem could that be?

if that doesn't work

reinstall office.

Hi,
I've restarted the computer,-doesn't work.
Reinstall...my CD with MS programs is in Paris and I'm in Princeton at the moment...do you think reinstalling is the only way to fix the problem?

Is there an error, or does it just bounce a few times, and then quit without opening?

It doesn't open at all.

I would say it bounces once and that's it.
