problem with my iphone contract

i'm already out of UK and suddenly decided not to comeback, but i still have a 18 months iphone contract with O2 which just started last sep. if i cancel the contract i hv to pay £570 for the termination charge...
so i don know what's the best solution for my situation?

I am not sure but I could see it being criminal in the US, I don't know about the UK, though.
