My new ipod touch (had it only a few months) cuts in and out on one channel a lot when i'm listening to it. it's not the headphones as I've tried a couple pairs. What should i do? will apple fix this? I'm currently in Vienna where there is no apple store, where should I go or who should i call? I need my ipod as I'm going on a big trip starting the 14th.
btw my ipod is in a hard case and i take excellent care of it.

iTouch ear phone jack

I have had an iTouch for about 18 months. Lately, I have noticed that my left side sound is not playing. I can exert force on the plug going into that jack and get it to work. There have been several threads on this forum about this issue. I live about 160 miles from the nearest Apple Store. I am driving that way next week and plan to talk to the folks there about it.
