Hi,

I recently ordered a macbook air from the online apple store, however i quickly realized that i had ordered the wrong one (i selected too small a hard drive) so i canceled the order...i planned to order the correct one immediately after, however when i went to do it i had insufficient funds in my account...Clearly they have charged and not yet refunded the money for the first one (which i cancelled).

Is there ANY way i can order a new mac on the site without having to wait 4-5 business days for a refund that i assume is coming? since they have my money anyway, surely it's just a matter of reassigning it to the new order? The reason i can't really wait is that i'm cutting it fine already -- im leaving the country in a few days and i really need the mac to arrive before then!

I would use other money if i had it, but this is all the money i had saved for the mac so i need to use the same money ...

Please advise,

Thanks in advance

Is this a credit card deal? If so, most likely what happened is they put a hold for the amount on your card, to ensure they could charge it for that amount when they shipped.

Try talking to your credit card company, and also work your way through the Apple telephone tree to find somebody who might be able to release the hold.
