Hello,

I bought the iPhone 12 mini 64GB yesterday and I restored from backup from my iPhone 11 64GB and the issue I am having is that on the iPhone 12 mini I am at 63.5 GB of storage used so I am almost out of space. My iPhone 11 is only using 42GB of storage. I removed a couple of Apple stock apps on the mini but that has not helped much. I noticed however on the mini that under "Other" storage it is using 41GB while on my iPhone 11 it was only using 2GB. That seems to be where the difference is at and why I am out of space on the mini. Why is this happening and how would I be able to resolve it? I have never had this problem before when upgrading to another iPhone model.

Thank you
Angelo

Do you have iCloud backup turned on?! Use that to do a restore on your mini if you can. The “other” storage is just an evil thing on iOS which doesn’t define what that is and you never know how to clean them up other than clearing some cache or setup everything from scratch.
