Sometimes, for unknown reasons, the latest version of Pages will "store" my keyboard commands and then unleash them all at one time when I move the cursor. So for example, if I press "a" fifteen times out of frustration, nothing happens, and then I click somewhere else in the text with the cursor and fifteen "a" appear where I clicked. Or similarly I might hit backspace (the trouble often begins when I want to erase text) a couple of times and then when I click somewhere else in the text, that text will be deleted instead of the text I wanted to delete. It will eventually go back to normal, but it is out of my control. So what I have to do is I have to restart Pages before I can continue to work.

Why is this?
