Hi everyone longtime lurker and i think first time poster heh...i have had my macbook since the revision came out in feb. starting recently i started to have what seemed to be a small issue....it started with everytime i opened my macbook there would be a static picture on the screen before the password log on popped up and i did not think much of it. then last week when i would go into my hd instead of displaying the application/folder name it would show random static and even pixels of my bakground picture...this is when i began to worry and it would be a quick fix if i restarted but i knew something was up. today i installed a program and when launched its whole window was just a static image...i tried to restart and that when my mac froze for the first time...should i take it in...has anyone experienced anything similar? i have no idea what may have caused this

Sounds like you may have a motherboard/graphics chip issue... you may want to take it in.
