hopefully a simple fix but i'm no expert with video so i don't have a clue. here's the problem.

i've took a video with my phone, which saves it as a .3gp, and played it through quicktime pro. slight problem, its sideways. so i then use the rotate tool in movie properties to move it so it plays the right way round and save it as a self contained movie, which then makes it a .mov file.

i then go to upload it onto youtube, and it plays sideways again :s

i'm not sure if this is a problem with youtube or quicktime, but can anyway help me get it onto youtube the right way round?

thanks

What is the size of the video dimensions when you save it? Try resizing it to 480x360 to force the dimensions. There are plenty of guides on what bitrates and such to set for H.264 for upload to youtube, and they'll do a much better job of that than me, so I'll just say google for a recent guide for that, but hopefully the resolution resize will force the issue for your rotation problem.
