Problem with Safari 5.0

I have installed Safari 5.0 on my brand new macbook and it is massively slower than version 4.0.5. It's taking up to 10 seconds to access some websites. How can I uninstall it? (Should I uninstall it?) Any other suggestions? Thanks

Google Chrome; miles faster than both FireFox and Safari 4/5 in my experience (Could never stand FireFox on OS X, so very slow, used Safari for a couple years and will never go back thanks to Chrome). Only niggle is that it sometimes triggers the discrete GPU if you have a 15/17" MBP (I just switch to intel only via gfxcardstatus to solve the problem).

Check your DNS settings. Perhaps look into OpenDNS.
