problem with Safari: Ads flashing

[Don't panic]

in the last couple of days Safari has become barely usable because animated gifs or movies, particularly from ads, keep flashing like crazy.

i am running safari 5.0.6 on 10.5.8

anyone else experiencing similar issues?

Everything is SO MUCH better with an ad blocker.

I use the Safari Extension "AdBlock". Works great, and it's free.😀

I use Safari AdBlock (not the extension, but the older version 0.4.0), SafariBlock, GlimmerBlocker, the ClickToFlash Plugin and the JavaScript Blacklist extension. No ads for me!
