iPad Bro

I have a M4 13” iPad Pro. I’ve noticed that even though I keep the brightness all the way up, it’s been darkened out somehow. I tried to lock it and it looks really bright on the lock screen, but as soon as I swipe up and go to the interface has like a filter over it causing it to now look as bright as the lock screen. I’ve been on Google and YouTube trying to find out how to fix this, but so far nothing has worked. Anybody else have this problem? If so, how did you go about fixing it?

Thank you!

Has this been since day 1? as a first step I would go to accessibility and look at all the settings.

It hasn’t been day one. I’ve already went through all accessibility settings and can’t see a difference with any of my changes. I don’t know what’s going on and it’s frustrating. I should have kept AppleCare on this.

I'm not sure this is what you are experiencing, but there is a setting when customizing the home screen that effectively dims the screen a bit. Go into the customization menu, by pressing and holding on the Home Screen and selecting Edit in the upper left, then Customize. The menu that comes up has a little Sun in the upper left. Toggle that off and see if that fixes the dimming that you are seeing.
