Went from a SE1 to the 11. One of the unanticipated problems I have is that with the right side power button and of course volume control buttons on the left side is that there is no longer a long straight surface to use the Stanley Fatmax level app with. I get a difference of 0.2 - 0.3 degrees due to the power button. Not a huge difference but irritating none the less.

Looks like it hasn't been updated for 5 years, so I bet you're not alone with that frustration. Have you tried Bubble Level? Got a kick out of your username btw.

Tried that app, thanks. It also doesn't take into account the additional tilt that the protruding power button induces in the readout value. With that app it reads an additional 0.5 degrees. If you are measuring the level on the end of something you can hang the phone over the end so the power off button is off the end and not adding tilt. Or could use the calibration to calibrate out the error. I use this tool quite a bit when leveling our RV to determine if the leveling result is "close enough".

Cant the app be used with the phone standing vertically? Or, if you have a case on can't you just put the phone flat on its back?

I have a caravan and level it too, 0.5 of a degree doesn't really make that much of a difference tbh.
