Hello, I am having an issue with a just bought MacBook Pro with the storage. The Mac is showing that the HardDrive has 199GBs left from 250 full storage and also shows that the hard drive has 252GBs of apps on it with not installing any apps that are more than 1GBs. I am confused on what it is showing that the HD is full but it really isn't full at all.

It's likely a Spotlight issue (well-known and common). I've seen multiple threads about it here on macrumors but the following article explains it well (warning: has a video ad for me in the middle of the article).

Warning: re-indexing Spotlight can take a while and more than a few people panic because it can system response pretty bad during the re-indexing.
