Hi everyone,

I just installed some of my old fonts on my new 15" Macbook Pro 2.3Ghz i7. It seems as though something has gone wrong. All of the fonts installed correctly and I can view them in the Adobe Master Suite etc. However, something has happened to the fonts that my browser (Chrome, but this also happens in Safari) where some of them show up as a comical sans-serif font I'm having a hard time identifying. Can someone give me some insight into this, and perhaps solve the problem for me?

Here are some example images:

Also, if I've made some serious error in posting on the wrong board etc, please be kind. I'm quite new.

Thanks in advance,
O.S.

P.S. This doesn't seem to affect any system fonts per se, but can rather be identified as an issue with web-specific fonts.

More info:

It appears as though this problems appears only in bold fonts. Take a look:

The areas which are supposed to be rendered bold are instead displayed with this ridiculous font.
