Problem with the dashboard widgets

I can open up the widgets dashboard and I can add widgets to the dashboard from the list provided. The issue is that I can not manage my widgets nor can I add new widgets to the list I have.

Currently all I have are:
-business
-calculator
-documentary
-flight tracker
-google
-hp ink widget
-ical
-itunes
-movies
-people
-ski report
-stickies
-stocks
-tile
-game
-translation
-unit converter

I used to have the weather widget but It recently disappeared... and I have no idea what happened to it.

Is there something I can to do either fix the path for my widgets or to rework it so I can manage them again?

Trash this file, log out, and log back in:
/Users/username/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dashboard.plist

Yes. Mac OS X will rebuild it automatically. Selectively deleting a .plist file that may be corrupt is a basic troubleshooting process.
