Problem with unlocking? help please?

Hello,

Ive successfully unlocked an iphone previously to take all sims but when i tried it again ( with a friends iphone ) it worked fine but wasnt able to make any calls as there was no reception.

I tried to downgrade to 1.0.2 but all this did was re lock the phone.

Now i cant unlock the phone again, when i dial star, hash, 301, hash it just returns the plug into itunes symbol with the slide to emergency, this is frozen though..then after 5 minutes the iphone restarts...

Im pretty stumped! any help would be greatly appreciated??
