Hi Guys,

I’ve a problem when I’m updating my iPhone 4. While I’m downloading the last update (iOS 4.3 ) and left a second to finish the downloading it says
“ There was a problem downloading the software for the iPhone. The network connection timed out. “

I tried everything; I reinstalled iTunes and turned off the anti-virus and the firewall but nothing worked!

What should I do ???

First, I would do the following:

1. Install the latest version of iTunes.
2. Open iTunes and choose Run Diagnostics from the Help menu.
3. Make sure Device Connectivity Tests is selected and click Next. This is the only one I tested for. Seems like the only problem was downloading for me, however, if you are having other issues then you can opt to do the other tests as well.

If the last one has a red dot, then I would recommend following this link and doing the COMPLETE uninstall of everything. Then re-install the latest version.

Uninstall and Removal of all iTunes/Apple components

Good Luck!::)
