Hi all,

I'm having a problem to play games with my virtual machines.

Whenever I try to activate games, namely, Oblivion, Dawn of war, my mac says "failed to initialize video card"

I tried on both Parallels desktop 6 and VMware Fusion, but results were same.

My laptop is previous macbook and those games were working when os x snow leopard was in it, but now i updated to Lion and,as I said, I cannot play the games.

Since I could play the games, I'm pretty much sure I can run the games on my mac, but after i started to using Lion I cannot so I believe this problem is all about OS problem.

How can I solve and play games?

Thanks

I would try and run your Parallels updates. You might be running a version that is not compatible with Lion.
