Problem with vista connectivity on macbook

For some reason there is an issue when I run vista on my macbook in that my internet stops working. It says that it is connected to the internet but there is a problem with the connectivity. I put in the mac os CD 1 after I finished installing vista with the drivers. Can anyone think of why this is happening? my macbook is able to connect to the network and surf it fine but not when its in vista mode
 
i have problems with vista losing my wifi intermittently and no problem with xp or os x on my mbp... it isn't frequent enough to really bother me and simply disconnecting/reconnecting gets it running right away again
