Does anyone else have this problem? When I press the + and - buttons the physical click sound the buttons make is different. Like the + sounds a little different than the - not like louder, I don't know what you would call it, different octave or something? Like the + has a just ever so slightly higher pitched click sound than the -

Do you think the apple store will replace it? Thanks

Replace it because one sounds louder than the other? Really?
 
Check that the housing isn't bent. The weakest point of the housing is at volume button hole, which may deform and could cause that kind of symptom.
