Problem with Winebottler

    i try to install Logitech Alert Controller

    download by here

    when i click on

    Create Custon Prefixes and after install

    after few second compare this window

    and i can't go on

    everyone can help me

    Does that software require access to USB devices? Wine (and therefore WineBottler) does not support USB yet.

    no absolutely not......
    no usb device

    can you try the software and try if work.....maybe I can not make it work

    Does not work for me either, using a newer version of Wine. Freezes at the same point it does for you.

    The only thing I can think of is to test on my Linux box, which has a newer still version of Wine, and seeing if the logs Wine makes give any clues as to what might be going wrong.

    Tested on Wine 1.5.12 on Ubuntu Linux. Works better... gets past the point where it was freezing. You can manually enter a path to install the program but when you try to continue it hangs up. See the attached zip file for the technical details, if that interests you.

    i'm not an expert of wine and less linux yet :D

    I would like to make it work on mac

    What should I do to make it work

    Unfortunately, it looks like you cannot right now, due to shortcomings in Wine, that will most likely be fixed in a future version.
