Since I updated to Lion I have had problems with Flash video generally, but now when I access youtube on my machine through Google Chrome - the below happens. Who's to blame Google or Apple? Any suggestions?

(I can hear audio but no video - and that funny 'hole in the browser' effect)

I'm having this very same issue with Google Chrome (tried stable, developer and canary build) with Mac OS X Lion on my MacBook Pro 17" 2011 model.

I did a clean install of OS X Lion and everything else seems fine, but YouTube video (flash?) when using Chrome under Lion is all-over-the-place. The same happens on my girlfriends MacBook Pro 17" 2010 model running Lion.

Surly we cant be the only ones experiencing this annoying issue?
Safari on the other hand works just fine.

Hi,

i have exactly the same problem with Chrome+Flash (mid2009 MBP) , but i'm on >10.6.8<.
Until now, i thought that it was related to the Cuda-Drivers and / or Flash betas i installed. Did you install any of this ?

I don't have that issue but sometimes have a few bugs, like I can't see the elapsed time bar or whatever

I think this **** is related to flash itself not chrome...

I have the same issue, but only with Chrome 13, not 12. And, if you quit Chrome and open it again, issue disappeared for some time, but come back again later. Also, for example on youtube you can click on fullscreen, and you see it, only not see in "window" mode. This is Chrome issue, all is fine in other browsers like FF, Opera, etc.

I just tried it while watching your clip. That would be meta if it happened, but no problems on my side. Good luck on fixing it anyhow.
