I have been experiencing some odd problems after I used the Internet Sharing on my MBP.

A little over a week ago my wireless router died on me out of the blue. I ordered a new router but in the meantime I ran an ethernet cord from my cable modem to my 2008 unibody MBP (10.7.3) and enabled internet sharing so I could still use my iPad around the house.

A few days ago I set up my new wireless router (D-Link N150) and shut off internet sharing on my MBP. However, now I am getting A TON of timeouts. On webpages, videos, even mailboxes show the circle with triangle and exclamation point (when I click on them it says too many simultaneous connections).

At first I thought it was the router, but because I am not seeing this behavior on my iPad and I have started to see this behavior (though not as bad) when at school, I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts about it being caused by the MBP. Being connected to Wifi or ethernet has no noticeable effect.

Thanks!

In Network Preference Panel on the afflicted devices, try clicking Advanced, then in the TCP/IP tab click "Renew Lease". Maybe you have some old routing information stuck?
