Problems after replacing battery in a 5c

I've had my 5c for nearly 3 years now & I was having to charge it 3 or 4 times a day, so I decided to buy a new battery. Initially I was going to pay someone to fit it but I looked at a couple of online tutorials & figured I could manage it myself.

However, since fitting it I have a couple of issues.

1) screen is very dark, even on highest brightness setting.

2) battery indicator is always at 100%

Now, is this a faulty battery or have I damaged one of the screen connectors when pulling the old battery out (or both)?

You might have damaged something or left off a connection during the battery swap. Check the instructions at www.ifixit.com to see if you can back track and find out what's wrong.
