I picked up my shiny :apple:watch on Saturday (2 days ago) but noticed some bugs, Siri doesn't always wants to respond to ,,Hey Siri'', Notifications are not always showing up and the blurred background (while you open any pop up window like the glances or the notifications) are just HORRIBLE, its blurred in such a strange way, not like the iPhone when you swipe up control centre. Also, yesterday I've been active all day and got my activity circles doubled except the stand up one - that one was empty!. Let me know if anyone is having any other problems or solutions.

I've discovered that the default apps already on the Watch are sending me alerts on my watch, but not the third party apps I've downloaded.

Did you make sure those notifications are turned on in the watch app on your iPhone? Watch app on iPhone -> Notifications -> scroll down to the bottom to see all the other apps.
You should be getting notifications on your watch for every app thats on the iPhone and has turned on notifications, even apps like facebook, whatsapp or others. Id call :apple: cust. ser. if it still doesn't work....

Yes it says 'Mirror iPhone alerts from...' and every one of them is on accept the Pebble app because obviously I don't need that one now.

Fwiw, the blurred background as it's waiting/thinking is a depiction of the watch face: the complication areas, etc. Not sure exactly why that was picked, but that's what I see.

Missing Calendar items on Watch

My issue is the iPhone calendar and Watch calendar do not always match.

Just had an appointment on my iPhone calendar completely missing on Watch - it basically didn't exist as far as the Watch was concerned but the next appointments afterwards were there. When the time came for the appointment the reminder came on my iPhone (only).

Perhaps we can make this a sticky thread to list the known issues in 1.0?

I have also experienced Siri not appearing and sounds disappearing (both fixed by resetting the Watch and re-pairing).

Luckily, you can get rid of these. It's in the watch app - under accessibility settings, I think.

MLB app isn't working at all for me :( anyone else experience this or have suggestions?

My banking app is also finicky.

Found a bug with heart rate data. I restored the watch from a backup and it doubled all of my readings. It's like the health app took the back up and added it to the current data. Now I have 2 identical bpm measurements every 10 mins instead of one. All new readings since the restore are single data points. No biggie but a bug nonetheless.

I've been seeing the same issue with calendar events throughout the week. Maybe 1/3 will completely not show on the watch (watch face or calendar app) although it'll show up fine on the watch. At least once I've gotten a reminder 5 minutes before the meeting that then caused it to magically show up on the watch face, though. My number 1 issue with the watch at the moment.

I suspect it might be down to recurring events that are moved or canceled - is this consistent with what you are seeing?

My wife noticed a problem that we both have. We get notifications on our watches fine, but now we don't get the notifications on the phone. The notifications will display on the lock screen when you turn it on, but they don't make sounds any longer. Anyone else have this problem?

Bugs and annoyances are normal.
All part of the early adopter experience.
Celebrate that you've received the watch you wanted.
Focus on the positives, return it, or learn from the experience.
Up next: The highly improved 2nd gen model...:)

"Hey Siri" doesn't work for me despite the settings saying otherwise, and I, am not receiving phone calls on the watch very often - say just 1 in 10 it alerts me. But I'm loving it nonetheless and I'm sure these bugs will be ironed out eventually.

Nope, most of the meetings I'm seeing problems with are one-time events that have never moved. The recurring ones seem to be working fine for me.

Probably wouldn't have been a bad idea to restore your phone before setting up the watch. Just to get old bugs out of the way so they don't screw with your watch experience. It's always good to do a restore every once and awhile.
