Hi guys,

Just got my 2011 15" MBP a few days ago and i've been loading it and trying to configure but i can't connect to the wireless network. In fact most of the wifi networks come and go at times and mine is never on the list. When i manually entered it in, all i got was a "connection timed out" message.

I've got a Belkin Play ADSL2+ router modem with updated firmware. I've tried broadcasting in G,N,B and even mixed mode using a WPA security at the moment. I have 2 other systems connected on it. XP and Windows 7. Not to mention my iphone. I've scoured the web looking for a solution but none so far.

I've rebooted the modem several times, removed the manually entered network from the preferred networks list.

Does anyone have suggestions that could help?

Are you broadcasting your SSID or is it hidden?

Yes, I know it shouldn't make a difference, but for some stupid reason that's what fixed my problem.
