I'm trying to export some of the music I've made in Garageband. But I'm running into errors.
I go through the standard procedure for sending the song to iTunes, and it shows up there as it should. But when I try to drag and drop it onto my computer, nothing happens. If I try to paste directly into Windows Explorer, I get a message to the effect that Windows cannot communicate with the device.
I ran into these problems while planning to buy a new phone. I was trying to get all the important data off my 4S since I was going to a smaller storage amount on a 5S. I tried numerous cables and USB ports, all with no difference.
I was able to back up the data and restore to my new 5S, and once again I tried to export.
Same problem.
Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?
