I'm getting a prompt to install the latest update for OSX and Safari. Can download it okay but when it gets to 'configuring' it stalls. Not doing anything. I have to hold the power button down to shut down then start the system up again. This has happened three times. Anyone else have this? Anyone know what is up with it?

You can download and use the separate installer, versus the auto one. Just go to Apples site to get it.

Just a 700MB download then

Same here, just stalls Configuring Installation. Brand new iMac. Not much installed yet.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

I went to the website and downloaded the update rather than going through the installer. Took a while, but installed no problems.

I remember when I just brought mine... An update had come out and it took 2 hours to download and install (with very slow university wireless access). Blah... Still, hope it is worth it!
