I have a Windows 7 x64 ISO which I've burned using Disk Utility.
When trying to install by booting from the disk I get a DOSesque black screen with a flashing cursor and my DVD drive eventually spins down.
The ISO burned and validated OK but trying to look at the disk contents in OS X reveals only a README.TXT file stating:
Is this usual or have I done something wrong?
Also, I'm using DVD+R disks - presumably these are fine?
If the iso/burning isn't the issue, any ideas regarding failed disk boot?
Are there any ways to install Windows without a DVD (over FireWire? - not using Parallels / VMFusion)?
Thanks

This disc contains a "UDF" file system and requires an operating system
that supports the ISO-13346 "UDF" file system specification.
