iPad Music.png

I listen to the music on my iPad. When I'm driving my car the iPad is plugged into the system. At work, when I'm at my desk and things are dull I break out the headphones and listen to the music. When I'm not using the iPad for a host of Other Things (reference photographs by the hundreds as One Example) I'm listening to music. I'm listening to music on my iMac as I type this.
I have since gone beyond 10,000 songs.

A week ago I wanted to skip where I was and go down several hundreds songs ahead of where I was. Simple, right? Take stylus and down-swipe. The Tan(?) page where I was moved to the left and I was told multiple windows were not supported. Huh? Hit the Music button and I down-swipe again and the page goes to the Right and Multiple Windows Are Not Supported. Who wants multiple windows? I want to go to the Listing and move from Pink Floyd to Santana.
No matter what I did I could NOT advance down the List of Music, always with the Multiple Windows Are Not Supported nonsense. Recalling the last time my iPad was updated - pictures stayed but the music vanished - I deleted the music and tried reloading. That was nice: I reloaded 4,000+ Pieces of music that I can access from my iMac but I just CANNOT listen to in any way shape or form on my iPad.

I'm probably doing somehtung very simple wrong and I don't know what.
Pardon me whist I listen to The City of Prague Philharmonic play Moussorgsky's The Great Gate of Kiev

Thanks for not answering.

I went to an Apple Store in the next County over. I'll let somebody else figure how much gas money I spent.
As I thought, it was a simple error. What happened when I tried to go down several hundred songs, I wound up accidentally stopped the selected source: Songs.

Now if I can figure out why I have so many problems trying to go up or down several hundred songs I shall be very happy.

I think the issue you’re having with scrolling the list of songs is because you’re dragging from the very top centre where the three dots are?

See screenshot & video attached. Is this what it’s doing? If so, don’t drag from the top instead just drag your finger up/down on the song list itself.

(10,081 pieces of music, 27.5 Days of uninterrupted music playing and counting.)
I'm trying to go from where the music is playing to The List of music.

The spreadsheet list for music starting with R itself goes from line 7645 to 8351. Basically I want to music to stop playing and continue - literally - a few thousand songs up or down.
