Problems preordering? - Try this...

    here's the key guys. go to www.att.com. Login to your master account.

    REMOVE the shared texting plan. Remove all texting plans altogether.

    Now go to the Apple store and order. You should be good to go. Once complete, log back in and set it back up.

    It's ATT's fault. They are throwing an error because they did not code for a shared plan of texting so it locks the account (you can't change the texting plan if the other accounts want to use it).

    Anyway, happy ordering...it worked for me. i re-added the family texting plan after the order was complete.

    That worked flawlessly. I kept getting the error as well and it turned out it was the shared messaging all along. I also added the unlimited shared messaging back onto my plan. The whole process including updating my wireless features and ordering the new 32GB 3Gs took less than 10 minutes.
