I'm puzzled by the printing problems I've been having with my various Apple devices. I have a Canon MG3620 printer which has performed flawlessly with my various Windows computers but I could never get it to print envelopes with either my iPad mini 4 or my iPhone. Now, a new iMac graces my home office and I'm having the same problem. It makes no difference what app I use: Pages, LibreOffice, whatever. When I insert a standard #10 envelope, the printer flashes an error message and won't print. I can use a standard 8 1/2 x 11 sheet in place of the envelope and it prints fine.
Does this sound like a printer driver problem, or is there someplace in system settings that I should go? It seems strange that this same printer worked perfectly with the now-deceased Dell that preceded my Apple products. Thanks in advance.
