Problems setting up mail account

    Are there problems with the server.
    I can't login to the mobile me server from my mail app. So I can't receive and send mail by my mail app. It's offline all the time. And can't put it online anymore. Via me.com it works all fine.

    Any suggestions??? It worked all fine the day before and therefore...... very strange

    What error messages does this gave ?

    Well I searched in a lot of forums with this problem, and one of the topics was 'problems with mail' can't send and receive mail. No connection with port 143 or 993 ....

    The sollution is.. When you recently installed the app Peerguardian please uninstall it. That's the app who's blocking your ports for mail.
