Problems w/ iSight camera in El Capitan

Anybody else having problems with their iSight camera not automatically coming on when launching Facetime or Photobooth since upgrading to El Capitan? There's a small discussion thread on it over at Apple's forums. I've run Apple Diagnostics--no issues. I've done the SMC reset, which fixes it but it eventually comes back. Sent feedback to Apple and reported it under Apple Care, which suggested that I reinstall El Capitan, but I'm hoping it's a software bug that'll be fixed soon??
