I recently made a movie and edited it using Avid. I exported it to .mov using the "same as source" codec which is Avid DNxHD codec. The filesize I end up with is 14gb. When I try to burn it with iDVD, filesize becomes 600mb and image quality is terrible.

Any advice on how to get it properly burned?

Thanks

Check your project's preferences in iDVD. Make sure the encoding is set to "Professional". This is the slowest, but best image quality option.

There may also be better export options from Avid, but any testing in Avid will be moot until you're using the best settings in iDVD.
