problems with app nocturne, can remove it

I installed the app nocturne on my mac to make the menu bar black, but I cannot get it to quit or remove it, my menu bar is black, but only parts of the items show up, i have to highlight some items to see them.

I just want my menu bar back to normal, how do I do this? I have tried deleting the app to the trash, but this did not work.
 
421 views & no replies, please does anybody have any idea how to get rid of it?

I tried a mac app called macapp cleaner, but when I rebooted, I still have the black menu bar, with my name, & clock, blacked out.

nobody has any idea on how to completely get rid of an app?
