I a using a Microsoft Bluetooth Presenter 8000 Mouse. It works fine when the laptop is on etc. However, I cannot get it to wake the laptop from sleep. The keyboard is also the same issue. I need to lift up the lid (using MBP with external monitor) to get it to wake.

Additionally, when the computer is on, a dialog box appears asking me to allow the paring of the mouse. I prefer it to just pair without asking m - perhaps this is also the reason of why it doesn't wake up the laptop, because the connection is terminated?

There is a setting in the bluetooth menu Go into Bluetooth Pane > Advanced > Check the last setting "Allow Bluetooth devices to Wake Up this Computer"

Hope it works for you...
