problems with gmail on a mac

has anyone noticed an incredible difficulty in sending emails with attachments using gmail?

i tried this using my desktop pc and while it wasn't blazing fast, at least it went through

on my new mbp, all it says is "still working" and the file never actually gets sent in the email

anyone else notice this?

I get similar things sometimes when I'm using Firefox, but not Safari.

thru Gmail's web interface or using Mail?

I send 5-10mb files on my macbook using Firefox almost every day and never have issues. Might be an airport issue.

If you're in safari, gmail has changed the website... so in the top right where "sign out" is... you'll see an option to "use older version" click that and see if ti makes a difference... sometimes I have some issues with gmail... and when I click into the older system everything works out.
