Problems with iChat after iLife '08 installation

after installing ilife 08 ichat doesnt seem to work with people that have AOL. But it does with people using AIM. Any thoughts? This was only tested with a few people and I will continue to troubleshoot.

I don't see how the ilife instalation can effect ichat?
