Problems with instagram since beta 1

Can anyone tell me why the app crashes everytime i press the camera button to take a picture or upload a picture?

Then why does it work on all of my friends devices with ios 7

It happened to be on Beta 1 and 3. Not beta 2. Just downloaded 4 so haven't tried that yet.

Barely 2 seconds until the camera screen comes up

You'll have to take the picture outside of the Instagram app though because the actually camera doesn't show up in the app, only the camera roll

I reinstalled Instagram and no more crashes

Never mind: just haven't had time to take pics, it still crashes

Actually found the fix yesterday thanks to YouTube. Go into settings>privacy>microphone and turn Instagram on; problem solved.

I wish I'd googled it a month ago haha.

Settings -> Privacy -> Microphone -> Instagram (ON).

Someone may have posted the fix already, but I haven't hit the bottom of the thread. Here you go just incase.
