Hello,
I am trying to install Windows XP in BootCamp but when I reboot and the Windows installer starts and I have to choose a partition to install windows, the keyboard won't work. I tried with two different apple keyboards (wired) but still they won't work!

I have no idea..but I will tell you that I tried to do the "Repair" with my XP professional disc and it asked for SP2 which I didn't have and the rest of the story isn't pretty...couldn't even open in safe mode..just keep recycling to the SP2 prompt.....

This is when I decided to get a Mac...I've got socks older than my last 3 pc's

When starting up clear the PRAM by holding down the command, option, P and R keys. Your computer will restart, make the startup sound then proceed with setup as usual.

New to forum, hi everyone.

I'm in the same pickle. XP instal asks for ENTER to continue but neither wireless keyboard nor mouse are working. Can't go forward, can't go back. Tried turning off and it just reboots from XP disk back to same screen.

Tried 2 different wired keyboards, no go. I picked up a new USB keyboard, haven't tried it yet but hope someone can help me figure out how to at least get that XP disk out of the drive. My computer has been inaccessible for 2 days.

Would rather not force turn off again without a definite plan of action. Maybe when I plug in the new keyboard makes a difference? The new USB keyboard can't be actually installed because no access to computer.

The Boot Camp manual did not warn about wireless keyboard & mouse issue. Advise, please help.
