Problems with ios 4.0.1 update on y 3GS

Is anyone else having problems after updating their 3gs with the new 4g software ? It's very slow, apps don't seem to load properly and Safari is too slow it is now so annoying to use. I am thinking about going back to my old Nokia 61e.
