So my problem is that my external hard drive failed. After opening the case and taking the hard drive out and installing it in my computer, I managed to save everything. I sent all of the files back to my new external hard drive on my imac and renamed the hard drive the same. iTunes recognized it and it plays almost everything perfectly. But I have around 1000 songs from Japanese artists with the artist and song names written in Japanese characters, and for some reason none of those are recognized by iTunes, even though they are still on the hard drive and the iTunes folder files are all the same as before.

Anyone can tell me why this is happening and any quick way to fix it, and also is it possible to tell iTunes the path of a whole album at once instead of a song per song basis. Thanks!
