Good morning everyone. Looking for a little advice from the experts. I purchased a MacBook Air in May/2020. It worked for a few months, but have nothing but difficulties with it since then. The main one is the fan continuously comes on sometimes for a long period of time, the. c9omputer freezes. It would sometimes crash for no reason, doesn't wake up properly. etc etc etc

I told it in to apple dealer and they replaced the logic board. It worked ok for one day and now all the symptoms are returning. Just this morning the fan come on for 20 minutes.

Im at a point now where Im thinking that I could maybe do a trade in with this air and buy a new computer, but should I buy a pro or another air? Are the problems Im having just a freak of nature?

Any advice would b.e greatly appreciated. Thank you

The 2020 Air is well known for fan noise. Get the MBP if that is an option. For quieter computing. If it's still freezing and crashing with the new logic board. It could be a software compatibility issue but that'll take some troubleshooting.

Thanks so much. Decided to buy MBP and try to trade in my air. It does work (sometimes) so we shall see.....LOL
Thank care and be well.

Odd....my 2020 MacBook Air is pretty darned quiet. Fans only blast away when doing serious computing. Otherwise it's nearly inaudible.
