I have the new base 15" MacBook Pro. I have been playing runescape (yes laugh if you want I have finished my exams and I was bored) and the fans have been going from 2000rpm to 5000rpm in the space of a few minutes. The laptop has also become extrememly hot to touch. Then the laptop freezes and I can only move the mouse cursor around thats it. I have to force close the laptop to use it again. I think its because the recent 10.6.4 update messed up with the NVIDIA graphics but i'm not sure. Any other suggestions on why it is happening or any ideas for a fix?
