So I updated OSX to 10.5.4 and now Mail is acting up. I have 6 accounts being checked in mail and now one of my accounts constantly asked for a password to the account every time it checks it. I never had a problem before with this account, it just started after the update. Also, now the junk mail folder will not display any of the mail in it and always has the little bubble beside the folder indicating there is mail in it. Even after a junk mail delete, the bubble still appears with a number in it.

Any ideas? If all else fails can I revert to 10.5.3 in just Mail?

Try to First aid Keychain,
If not work you might have to reset keychain.

If you want to test is it problem cause by update or keychain error, you might try in new user and setup the problem email again. If the issue is not persist in new user. You might need to work on reset keychain more than downgrade.

Thanks 99, but this didn't work. I even deleted and recreated the email account and still nothing. Any new ideas? How would I go about reverting to 10.5.3?

If you planning to go back to 10.5.3, first recommend to you is backup all you data in the external HD first. Even upgrade or downgrade please backup.

If you want to downgrade you have to use the installation disk 1 of 10.5.x. After you boot in installation disk you have to reinstall your system and try to download the 10.5.3 combo update in apple site.
