I've been converting some of my DVD's to H264 in anticipation of getting an ATV, but I've run into a few issues. I hope someone can help.

1. Sometimes Mediafork opens the DVD and goes through the encoding process, but never creates the destination file, the MP4. First time it did this I didn't notice, and after an hour and a half of ripping, I had nothing to show for it.

2. I have a movie I previously ripped with MTR. When I try to encode this file Mediafork opens it and starts ripping, but gets done really fast, and all I get in the MP4 is the first 4-5 minutes of the movie.

3. I have one DVD that starts ripping, gets to about 0.98% complete, hangs up for a few minutes, and then goes to done. Created file is un-openable.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try using Handbrake which is the older version of Media Folk but is a proper relase, as mediafolk is still in Beta testing form
